A shorter and slimmer version of the Outline Sofa.

The Outline Sofa family is an architectural, refined set of sofas that comes in two and three-seater versions. Available in textile from Kvadrat or Arve and in silk leather from Camo Leathers, the Outline Sofa is a study of combining Scandinavian design and craftsmanship with superior comfort.

Adding to the family is a Studio series, taking the original Outline design and translating it into a slimmed-down design to accommodate the compact dimensions of contemporary, modern homes.

Cleaning instructions

Remove non-greasy stains by carefully dabbing with a lint-free cloth wrung out in clean, warm water. If necessary, clean by dabbing with soapy water. Visit Kvadrat.com for further information on cleaning textiles. For leather versions please find cleaning instructions at ca-mo.com.

Anderssen & Voll

ANDERSSEN & VOLL are two thirds of the former Norway Says and among the most prominent and succesful Norwegian designers. They have formerly been named both Norwegian and Scandinavian designers of the year in Norway and have received international awards and recognition for their work with furniture, lighting and home accessories.

ANDERSSEN & VOLL ON THEIR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
“A good product builds and expands on tradition but at the same time, it breaks with tradition. Change and elements of surprise stimulates thought and reflection – even for people who are not very interested in design and even if the change is not radical. That tiny second of reflection is the window of opportunity where we can communicate with the users and that is what we are looking for.”

ANDERSSEN & VOLL ON NEW NORDIC DESIGN
“New Nordic isn’t merely a slogan or a description of the collection. It’s a commitment by Muuto to let the brand grow dynamically with the emerging ideas and concerns of young Nordic designers. The term also functions as an invitation, a challenge and a motivation to us as designers.”

In fact, our name Muuto, inspired by the Finnish word muutos, means new perspective.
