VONDOM launched the first pieces of Faz Collection in 2010 , and since then it continues to develop new ones. The initial idea of the collection was based on modular sofas and planters, now it has become a big family, with the creation of various elements, tables, chair, armchair, sunbed, daybed and rugs of different sizes and colors. After 3 years of research and development by our engineering team, together with the architect Ramón Esteve, VONDOM has started its commitment toward for metallic materials. The elegant tables and chairs of different sizes and designs, whose base is formed by lacquered metal rods . The top of the table is of phenolic material (HPL), meanwhile the seats are made of PP by injection technique. Although other parts of the same collection FAZ are made with a completely different technology and materials, these new sets are lightweight without departing from the architectural forms of the rest of the collection.
Ramón Esteve, architect of the harmony, serenity, timelessness and the universality has created mineral and expressive shape that makes FAZ a design that contextualizes with the homes and installations. Atmosphere, encircling as a result of the happy combination of the material and light elements, so that the unique sensing would be its fusion. Their soul VONDOM lives themselves in the exclusiveness by the quality of the material that permits an exterior using even in the most exacting environments. The modularity of FAZ permits the consumers to adapt the furniture and flowerpots to their style and necessary without losing the harmony of this furniture set. FAZ is composed by a sun-lounger with auxiliary table, armchair, modular sofa and coffee table. Complete the collection with three flowerpots of different proportions that form a unit. The collection is available with excellent quality nautical or polyester cushion. The result is a work that transmits essence, that contains the complexity and the density of a resolved work until the extreme detail, whose end is the creation of places where desire to live.
Ramon Esteve graduated in Architecture from Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM) in 1990. He founded Ramon Esteve Estudio de Arquitectura in 1991, working on both architectural and interior design projects and also other fields such as industrial design and art direction at the national and international area. Harmony, serenity and essentiality are some of the constant features of Esteve ’ s work and become symbols of his will to provide to the habitat more than just buildings.
