Together with vanguard international designers, Hem is creating a new generation of sustainable furniture, accessories and lighting.
Stockholm-based creative hot-house Hem is on a mission to bring pioneering design to a greater public. As curators for the next generation of design-aficionados, Hem serves a clientele that demands that their acquisitions are thoughtfully designed and manufactured, of high quality and readily available.
Hem – Swedish for ‘home’ – was founded in 2014 and has since 2016 been based in Stockholm. But with a range of over 300 products available in 34 nations with the largest markets being the US, Great Britain, Germany and France, the brand’s nationality is somewhat of a side note. ‘Hem was as a global brand, that is where we started our journey’, explains designer and founder Petrus Palmér.
Producing exclusively in Europe and working with some of the world’s leading designers, including Max Lamb, Luca Nichetto, Pauline Deltour, GamFratesi and Philippe Malouin, Hem now offers a portfolio of pieces ranging from tables, sofas and carpets to lighting and accessories.
